Description

Jr. Accountant will provide entry‐level administrative and financial support services. Jr. Accountants are expected to be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and meet department deadlines.

Essential Functions

Post daily invoices and apply payments.
Create credit and debit notes.
Follow up with customers regarding payment status on open invoices.
Verify customer resale certificates.
Reconcile customer/vendor accounts.
Conduct customer portal checks.
Prepare bank reconciliations and credit card transactions.
Resolve accounts payable and receivable issues and/or inquiries.
Prepare journal entries.
Assist with tax filings in various government agencies.
Complete end‐of‐month close procedures.
Perform other duties as needed.
Follow all company policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Strong analytical problem‐solving aptitude with creative solutions, ability to organize work with large amounts of information efficiently.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to different support needs.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent.
