Bonds Groups Vancouver office acquires and develops primarily residential sites, and manage a collection of income-producing residential properties and street level retail units in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Our office is located in the picturesque area of the West End in the City of Vancouver.

The Group’s Vancouver office is now hiring a: Bookkeeper & Property Administrator

Full time role, Monday to Friday, ~9am-5pm

The key focus of this role is to provide financial support to the company’s Property Management team and (to a lesser extent) the Development team. The core duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Bookkeeping

- Review and entry of invoices and purchase orders using QuickBooks

- Accounts receivable and accounts payable

- Prepare GST returns, expense reports, and bank reconciliations

- Online banking, bank deposits and filing invoices

- Assist with annual rent recoveries and other accounting functions

- Process bi-weekly payroll, annual T4 slips and WCB filings

Administrative Support

- Prepare rent rolls, agendas, meeting minutes, POs, tenant notices, letters, and memos

- Prepare monthly project funding requests, financial statements and report to ownership

- Relief reception duties, receipt and distribution of mail, and other office admin duties

Required Skills and Experience

- 2+ years accounting / Bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks

- 2+ years of Office Admin experience, using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Email and DropBox

- Independent worker, accounting/bookkeeping knowledge

- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

- Property management and real estate development knowledge is a valuable asset

This role will work from the company’s beautiful and spacious office in Vancouver’s West End, 1 block from the beach.
