Global manufacturer in the construction industry has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk to join their team.

This position will be working in Mississauga office on a contract possibly to permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly payroll (salaried and hourly)
Prepare payroll, EHT and WSIB remittances
Process T4, ROE and other payroll forms
Prepare payroll reports
Process vendor invoices
Prepare semi-monthly vendor payments
Prepare AP aging reports
Process wire transfers, visa payments
Perform bank reconciliations
Report HST
Prepare financial reports
Assist with other duties as required

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience ideally within manufacturing/construction industry
Post-Secondary education in accounting or related field
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation
CPA/PCP considered a definite asset
Excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Office
