Our North American operations operate from two facility locations in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and a third facility in Superior Wisconsin in the USA.

We are currently hiring to fill the permanent position of Accounting Clerk/Payroll Administrator at our Thunder Bay location.

Accounting Clerk/Payroll Administrator:

Responsibilities:

Report to and provide support to the Financial Controller
Process payroll on a biweekly basis
Administer benefits and pension programs
Prepare direct deposits, cheques and wire transfers
Prepare and file EHT, WSIB, and HST returns
Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Reconcile bank accounts and update cash flow reports
Prepare general ledger postings and reconcile various accounts.
Assist with preparation of monthly and annual financial reporting
Process payroll on a biweekly basis
Administer benefits and pension programs
Prepare direct deposits, cheques and wire transfers
Prepare and file EHT, WSIB, and HST returns
Process employee expense reports
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

2 + years of relevant experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education

Degree or Diploma from a recognized accounting program is preferred
