We are seeking a strong, motivated individual for this role; a self-starter that enjoys a challenge. The Accounting Lead will work from our Satellite office in Mactier, ON and report to the Regional Accounting Manager.

Accounting Lead, Muskoka Satellite Office, Mactier, ON

Accounting Duties include:

· Coordinate the month-end close for the marina portfolio

· Oversee and assist with monthly account reconciliations

· Analyze results and report on variances

· Maintain general ledgers and chart of accounts

· Monthly Manager reporting and ad hoc financial statements

· Recommend enhancements to internal controls as required

· Provide training on new policies and procedures

· Other projects as deemed necessary

· Travel to Marinas occasionally for support (Northern Georgian Bay/Muskoka area)

Knowledge & Skills

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Good time management skills, able to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Experience with LightSpeed and Dock Master would be an asset

· Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision

· Team player

Education & Experience

· Post Secondary education in Accounting/Finance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
