Who we are looking for:

We have a busy office and we are looking for a confident, mature bookkeeper who has excellent communication and analytical skills with and has a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

The duties include:

Our firm will offer you the challenge of a variety of assignments including assisting a portfolio of clients with cloud based accounting systems, reconciliations, payroll, and preparing and filing all types of government reporting and remittances. You will also work directly with the partners on various accounting projects. The scope of work can change over time to include year end file and tax preparation depending on your interest and skills.

Skills required:

At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
Public practice experience an asset.
Post secondary administration or bookkeeping diploma preferred.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal customer service skills.
Proficient at Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Working knowledge of accounting software: Sage, QBO and Caseware.
