As we rapidly expand our operations globally, including substantial cross-border transactions, we seek a strategic and dynamic VP of Finance that could work their way to becoming the CFO to steer our financial strategies and manage complex financial landscapes, ensuring accelerated profitability and sustainability.
The Role: We are looking for a seasoned financial executive who thrives in managing high-stakes challenges within a company that is. Your strategic acumen will be crucial in leading our finance department, optimizing our revenue streams, and positioning Luxe Du Jour for a successful financial future and potential exit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative financial strategies to drive profitability and manage complex international transactions.
- Navigate and mitigate financial and tax risks
- Maintain robust relationships with banks and financial institutions
- Lead and optimize financial operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Actively participate in hands-on financial management and detailed operational tasks when necessary.
- Spearhead fundraising efforts, leveraging industry connections to secure financing that aligns with our growth objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and explore legal financial opportunities to enhance business efficiency and profitability.
- Drive initiatives to reduce costs and improve operational efficiencies, enhancing the company's overall financial performance
- Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet business objectives
- Manage relationships with investors and analysts, ensuring transparency and regular communication regarding financial performance and strategic direction
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management within the finance industry, ideally with exposure to luxury retail and international markets.
- Proven track record of navigating complex financial landscapes and delivering tangible results.
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to operate both at strategic and operational levels.
- Extensive network of industry contacts and a history of successful fundraising.
- Knowledgeable in creating and managing financial strategies that minimize liabilities and maximize profitability.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and expertise in financial forecasting and planning.
