Calabogie Peaks Resort, a premier four-season destination in the beautiful Ottawa Valley, is seeking an Accounting Generalist with a passion for numbers and an eye for detail. What You’ll Do: As a Accounting Generalist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and helping us achieve our financial goals. You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing accounts receivable and reconciling accounts
- Handling daily revenue accounting and bank reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting remittances accurately and on time
- Supporting the preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end reports
- Assisting with other accounting tasks as needed to keep our finance operations running smoothly
What You Bring:
- Certificate in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred) working towards CPA an asset
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbooks (an asset)
