Iskatewizaagegan #39 Independent First Nation Holdings Inc., LP. is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fulfill the responsibility of Finance Manager. The Finance Manager, will be under the direction of Chief of Operation, the Finance Manager, will work with the Board of Directors, and all team members of the Iskatewizaagegan #39 Independent First Nation Holdings Inc., LP. The Finance Manager will perform a variety of financial and operational duties for the Iskatewizaagegan #39 Independent First Nation Holdings Inc., LP. This role is critical in ensuring strategic goal planning, maintaining accurate records, complying with financial laws, regulations and standards. Finance Manager will provide essential financial support while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and client-focused service

Status: Permanent Part-Time
Salary Range: To commensurate with Education, and Work Experience
Schedule: 21 hours per week/On Call

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the team with accounting processes and functions, answering questions by phone or email, training, and coaching on payroll programs
- Responsible for setting up financial tools and programs to enhance consistency and streamline operations for the IIFN#39 Holdings Inc., LP.
- Prepare month end reconciliations for company credit cards and process reimbursements
- Instrumental in preparing and filing company tax documents
- Participates in reviewing the accounts and ensuring they are balanced. Problem solves financial issues with management to find solutions
- Work on journal entries monthly and yearly, inputting the data and balancing entries, with detail and accuracy
- Manage the input and recording of all invoices, matching invoices to statements, creating efficient processes, and improvements
- Organize bank deposits, going to company banks, recording, and filing all bank documents, building relationships with the bank, and the company accounting team
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality with any company and client documents including when downloading, scanning confidential files and documents, invoices, employee records, and electronic filing
- Work on payroll activities; payables, entering receivables data, etc
- At times, may assist the team with administrative functions, such as relief for holidays, scheduling, setting up appointments/meetings, setting up efficient administrative processes, and file management
- Work in Microsoft teams; answering emails, phone calls, and chats, attending meetings, video chats, file management, etc.
- Led by management, participate in team meetings when required including financial, senior management team, and compliance meetings with the team
- Communicate and build trusting relationships with the team, clients, and community members.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to clients with a focus on accuracy and meeting all timelines
- Promote, enforce, and abide by the Iskatewizaagegan #39 Independent First Nation Holdings Inc., LP. Bylaws, Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience in bookkeeping/finance position, in a similar fast paced work environment
- A high stress tolerance
