We currently have an exciting role for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk in our Kapuskasing, ON location.
Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with generating and sending customer statements
- Posting customer payments to accounts
- Processing credit card and auto withdrawal payments
- Preparation of daily bank deposits
- Electronic filing of AR documents
- Reconciliation and review of customer accounts
- Assist in customer collections
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities, reconciliations, reporting, etc.
- Prepare AR adjustments for approval
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- 1-2 years administrative experience
- Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
- Experience with Sage 300/Trux software would be considered an asset
- Knowledge in all Microsoft Office Programs (including, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Experience in the transportation or waste industry considered an asset
