Alpa Stairs and Railings is the largest manufacturer of residential and commercial Wood Staircases and Railings supporting the building industry and homeowners across Ontario, providing designs, measurements, production and installation of Stairs and Railings. Located in Mississauga.
We are currently seeking a Payroll and Accounts Receivable Administrator (18 months contract) with the following experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees
- Setup new employees
- Updates and verifies payroll transactions
- Calculate of piecework and bonus
- Process of payroll bi-weekly
- Complete and reconcile payroll reports
- Issue earnings statements / T4’s / ROE’s when requested
- Post payroll to Accounting System (GP Dynamic)
- Complete year end source deduction returns and filings
- Post Accounts Receivable payments and apply to invoices
- Filling
- Backup Receptionist
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role
- Experience with the Payroll Program ADP Work Force Now and Accounting Program GP Dynamics would be an asset
- Highly detailed, focused, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Able to work both individually and in a team environment
