Staffinity is currently seeking a Finance Supervisor for a client in Little Current. This is a permanent part-time position that will work out of Little Current, ON 3 days per week. The position offers an hourly rate, benefits, vacation, paid mileage and possible accommodations provided for the right candidates. The base pay range is $39.04-$45.95. The working hours are daytime, between Monday and Friday. More junior candidates may be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and submit reports to ministries as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
- Supervise the use of Dynamics GP for financial management.
- Support HR and Payroll as required, including personnel-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Accounting designation (CGA preferred).
- Experience in a healthcare environment is an asset.
- Experience with Government funding (inter-regulations and standards) is an asset.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Dynamics GP preferred.
- Must be able to work on-site.
