Position: CPA Public Consultancy Manager
Location: Burnside, Dartmouth, NS

Position Overview:
The CPA Public Accounting Manager and accounting team will provide high-quality assurance, taxation, and accounting services that support G&R’s clients in the land and real estate development, construction, not-for-profit, medical and dental, small business and personal tax sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility and act as primary contact for your portfolio of clients; providing statements, reports, advice, and customized support for clients to set and meet goals
- Actively and timely researching and responding to clients’ inquiries
- Completing other projects and support for clients as requested
- Identify opportunities where additional services could benefit the client
- Actively supervise, support, direct and develop junior staff
Key Qualifications and Attributes
- CPA designation is a must!
- Relevant university degree with concentration in accounting or finance
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to different environments
- Software fluent; e.g. Microsoft Office, Simply Accounting, Quickbooks
- Be a self-starter with excellent workflow management skills and the ability to deliver in required timeframes
- Ability to effectively multitask within a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Solid verbal and written communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong research, problem solving and organizational skills
