*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable management, while also being proficient in various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero. This role is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the overall administrative functions of the organization.
Note - we are looking for someone with experience in working for farm accounting and bookkeeping. Minimum 3 years experience in farming world. Some work can be done on site and some remote.
*Responsibilities*
- Manage all aspects of payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct account analysis and assist in budgeting processes to support financial planning.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) for efficient data entry and reporting.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Coordinate office operations including supply management, vendor relations, and facility maintenance.
- Supervise administrative staff and provide training as needed to enhance team performance.
- Implement office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
*Requirements*
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not required.
