Capital Infrastructure Group Inc., an industry-leading contracting/construction company experiencing tremendous growth, is seeking a Billing Analyst to join its team on a 4-month contract basis. The successful candidate will primarily focus on investigating billings, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting financial analysis projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigate and analyze billing discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and resolving any issues
- Conduct financial audits related to billings and project costs
- Prepare financial reports and present findings to management
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and best practices
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and recommendations as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel for financial modeling and data analysis
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset
