Job Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Financial Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to support financial operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in reconciling transactions, managing accounts payable, and providing financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile monthly credit card transactions; assist with inquiries and correspondence with credit card holders.
- Reconcile monthly out-of-pocket transactions; prepare payouts and assist employees with inquiries.
- Create accounts payable payment journals for EFT processing; assist with payment vouchers and troubleshooting.
- Review payment request submissions; assist with setup of new vendor accounts in the ERP system.
- Support inquiries and provide training on accounting systems.
- Assist with daily cashbook updates and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports.
- Prepare monthly cash balance and credit card advanced payment reports.
- Manage recurring office and general expenses.
- Assist with cheque deposits and accounts receivable clearing.
- Assist with filing annual provincial information returns.
- Participate in ad hoc projects for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in industry roles.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
