Job Overview
We are looking for a part time Accounts Payable Clerk who will be responsible for the day to day tasks of maintaining the accounts payable for our busy agricultural dealership located in Rimbey AB.
The Duties and responsibilities are as follow:
- Process and manage incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth processing of payments.
- Check runs, assembling checks and invoices for signing and distribution;
- Photocopy and scan documents, file & maintain A/P invoices;
- Bank and Mail runs
- Filing
- Answering Phones
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficiency in accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Keystone / Quantum is an asset but will train
- Attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately;
- Organized with the ability to work individually and as a part of a team;
- A positive and friendly attitude.
- Must demonstrate a high standard of ethics and confidentiality.
- Must possess strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
