About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Vice President, Finance & Strategy, the Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting the company’s financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making processes. You will work closely with finance, operations, and senior management to ensure accurate financial reporting, robust budgeting, and insightful analysis that drives the company’s growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
Develop financial forecasts and projections to support strategic initiatives.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Manage the annual budgeting process, including data collection, analysis, and review.
Develop and refine financial models to improve budgeting and forecasting accuracy.
Project manage the end-to-end delivery of financial forecasting processes.
Business Partnering:
Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.
Prepare business cases to evaluate various opportunities and provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Work closely with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies.
Scenario Planning and Risk Management:
Lead scenario modeling to assess risks and support decision-making.
Conduct stress tests and scenario analysis to aid in strategic planning.
Communicate the implications of different scenarios to stakeholders.
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
Support internal and external audits and enhance financial governance.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline with CPA designation or designation in progress
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or a related role
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365 tools, advanced in Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite and/or IBM TM1 a plus
- Proficiency with financial software applications
- Experienced working and manipulating large data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
