We're looking for a Finance Specialist to join our client's growing team. This role is responsible for supporting the accounting and reporting of a regional finance team. Key duties include variance analysis, SAP system integration, statutory financial statement reporting, and pension accounting. The successful candidate will possess strong accounting principles knowledge, SAP expertise, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures
- Support annual audits and quarterly reviews
- Prepare accruals, cash flow forecasts, and other financial reports
- Monitor mergers and acquisitions performance
- Provide shared service cost reporting
- Analyze accounts and support SAP entries
- Participate in UAT initiatives
- Adhere to internal controls and SOX requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA designation with 2-3 years of experience
- Experience in manufacturing or construction industries preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP and IFRS)
- Proficiency in SAP systems
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel skills
