What You’ll Do:
As our Bookkeeper - Data Entry Specialist, you’ll ensure the financial side of our organization runs smoothly so we can continue creating impactful mentoring relationships across the community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform daily data entry of financial transactions including purchases, expenses, sales, and payments into SAGE 50.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial records by reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
- Assist with managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Generate financial statements and reports as needed.
- Maintain an organized filing system for financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external accountants as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal information.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years as a bookkeeper with a focus on data entry and a diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, or equivalent.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in SAGE 50 and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Your accuracy and organizational skills will help us maintain spotless financial records.
- Independence: You’re able to manage your workload autonomously while being a proactive problem solver.
- Integrity: You understand the importance of confidentiality and can handle sensitive information with care.
- A clean police clearance is required to ensure the safety and integrity of our operations and the communities we serve.
