Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, bookkeeping, payroll, plan and co-ordinate company projects, and assisting in the operation of the company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate front desk activities and manage general office duties
- Perform duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Accounting knowledge in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation and payroll
- Prepare General Ledger accounts for year end
- Manage office and administrative tasks (ie: ensuring accuracy in documentation, financial transactions and maintaining paper and electronic filing systems)
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks as required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients, vendors and staff
- Ability to maintain accurate records and files
- Efficient with Quickbooks (or similar accounting software), Word and Excel
- Familiarity with Inventory Software (Simpro or similar program) an asset
- Adaptability and flexibility
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
