Administrative and Executive Support
Reporting to: President / Managing Director
Location: Deer Lake, NL
MG Power Service Associates Inc. and its affiliates companies, operate across Canada and in the United States, servicing the energy sector by providing high voltage expertise and services to utilities, power generators, and large industrial facilities. Our company focuses on quality of service and safety above all else. As we scale our operations, we are seeking to add key personnel to support our growth. Technical knowledge of the industry will not be critical however we would expect the candidate to have an openness to learning and developing a base knowledge over time.
In the Administrative Support role, you will provide key support in the day-to-day operations of our business. Key responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:
· Interacting with suppliers in Canada and US (financial institutions, insurance companies, H&S providers, state regulatory bodies, material and service providers, and others)
· Interacting and responding to clients in Canada and US (pre-qualification requirements, quoting, bidding and other)
· Bookkeeping and Invoicing
· Updating company policies, procedures and H&S programs with the team.
· Liaising with stakeholders and preparation of board reports and minutes.
· Prepare or support the preparation of reports for clients and prepare bid / tender documentation
· Updating and tracking the CRM database
· Arranging meetings and schedules
· Providing marketing support
· Utilizing MS Office and MS Outlook platforms daily in your work.
· General administrative duties supporting the overall organization growth and functioning
Qualification, Skills, and Abilities:
· Post secondary Education in a related discipline
· Experience in Bookkeeping / Accounting
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
· Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills
· A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
· Flexibility; ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities
· A well-organized individual with key attention to detail
· Possess a high standard of professional integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
· An eagerness to learn and grow
· Flexible schedule – although it is expected that the majority of work for this role can be completed during the regular work day
Hours: 30-40 hours per week (TBC)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
