At the local level, Vish helps salons eliminate waste, manage their inventory, increase service revenue, and provide valuable insight into their color business. At the global level, Vish will revolutionize supply chain management for the entire hair color industry.
The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Coordinator to join our finance team. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Role Requirements:
- Record and manage transactions into Quickbooks Online
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Facilitate employee benefits and employee expense reimbursements
- Accounts payable/receivable: manage and process all accounts payable and receivable functions
- Customer billing: addressing billing inquiries efficiently.
- Sales tax reconciliations: reconcile provincial and US sales tax, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Expense management: oversee and manage company expenses, including tracking and reporting expenditures.
- Support with ad hoc tasks and administrative projects as required
- Other duties as assigned
Applicant Requirements:
- Possess the ability to multitask and work effectively in order to meet deadlines
- Have a strong sense of discretion and have been trusted with sensitive or personal information in the past
- Certificate or diploma in Bookkeeping or a related field
- Relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on AP/AR and reconciliations preferred
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in accounting software (QBO) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
