Public Practice Accountant
Established CPA public practice firm in Stettler, AB has a great opportunity available for an accountant to join our firm (In person position, not remote role).
The successful candidate should be a CPA, have public practice experience, ability to maintain good client relationships and work as part of a team.
This position would suit someone looking for a good work life balance and it could fit around a part time schedule most of the year with full time commitment during tax season. The position could also be full time for the right candidate. It would be based at our Stettler office and not a work from home role.
Responsibilities will include preparation of corporate year end working papers, financial statements and tax returns, review of year end files, compliance assurance and preparation of personal tax and estate returns. Extensive personal tax knowledge is required as the position will include final review of personal income tax returns. Agriculture and oilfield sector knowledge would be an asset along with experience using a variety of software programs.
