Your New Company:
Hays Recruitment has partnered up with a retail company based in Brampton, Ontario. Our client is looking to hire a Procure to Pay (AP Assistant) to join their team on a contractual basis of 3 months with potential for extension. This position is hybrid located in Brampton.
Your New Role:
- Review business processes of potential revenue leakage programs.
- Review and finalize post audit claim files for standardized programs for the business.
- Liaise review with our internal and external stakeholders on post audit claim files.
- Respond to inquiries from various sources relating to claims (operations, vendors, category, finance, etc)..
- Manage approval workflow process of all post audits.
- Various other duties as required
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years of previous applicable industry experience, or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of accounts payable or credit procedures in a computerized environment.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal professionally with all levels of management.
- Ability to converse comfortably with business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize work so all target dates are achieved, and to coordinate and control multiple tasks.
- Intermediate experience with Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft Access, and Outlook).
- Previous experience in SAP would be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail and commitments to excellence.
- Be flexible and able to adapt to change in a positive manner.
