Job Summary
We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our company and oversee administrative operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing office and streamlining functions of our company.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivables and payables and record all transactions in Quickbooks - Perform weekly payroll, and review of timecards for employees (under 10) - Knowledge of WSIB, government contributions and issuance of ROE - Prepare contracts and quotations and e-mail to clients - Prepare invoices upon completion of contracts and mail/email to clients - Manage supplier/vendor accounts payables through e-mail and online billing
- Manage e-mail and letter mail correspondence
- Must be fluent in all bookkeeping procedures for review with company's accountant
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data
- Reconcile bank statements and record all payables and receivables - Liase with vendors, insurance company and suppliers as directed - Maintain a neat and organized filing system - Perform weekly payroll, and review of timecards for employees (under 10)
* Experience
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator/bookkeeper or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and proficiency with Quickbooks
- Experience in the construction industry is a great asset!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
