Must Haves:
- 2-5 Years experience within Payroll processing
- Experience preparing Canada and US payroll
- Unionized vs non-unionized
- Salaried vs Contract
- Experience reconciling 3rd party remittances defined by due dates
- Experience preparing payroll journal entries, reconciling within general ledger
- Understanding of garnishment processing, incentive payouts, deferred incentive payouts, stock options, etc.
- Strong communication and strategic thinking skills, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment

Day-to-Day
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Payroll Processor working full-time in a hybrid role out of Aurora, Ontario. These individuals will be responsible for processing payroll for a variety of salaried employees (2,000-3,000 employees) as the client works on centralizing HR systems in Dayforce. They will document and maintain payroll processing instructions while participating in system implementations that include any Payroll modules.
