Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Manager, HR Projects and Systems, the Human Resources Analyst is responsible for providing administrative support required to meet the goals of the Human Resources function including but not limited to; payroll processing, HRIS, maintaining employee records, recruitment, benefits, performance management and providing administrative support to all Corporate employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly Corporate employee payroll
- Perform as an SuccessFactors super user to enter and maintain accurate HR data for Corporate Employee
- Responsible for processing, verifying and maintaining employee data, including preparing monthly company wide statistical reports (ie. DEI, headcount, turnover etc.)
- Accurately administer the Human Resource and G&A budgets, invoice confirmation and approvals, and expense reports
- Work collaboratively with departments and sites on common internal communications and employee engagement activities
- Support and coordinate companywide training initiatives with sites
- Participate and support the attraction, retention and development of high-quality employees, including job analysis, advertising, conducting interviews, liaising with recruiters, performing reference checks and employment contract negotiations
- Deliver an effective onboarding program for new employees, ensuring due process is followed, with an eye for constant evolution and improvement
- Prepare employment offer letters and contract amendments
- Assist with onboarding of new employees, including the creation of welcome announcements for all new hires, timely completion of the onboarding checklist and IT forms for all new and existing employees as required
- Administer off boarding for exiting employees including the timely completion of the off-boarding checklist and IT forms
- Complete human resources related projects on a variety of topics as and when required
- Facilitate accurate and timely performance appraisal review process
- Review employee annual goals for completeness and quality, providing feedback to employees/managers if appropriate
- Organize and file completed employee annual performance review forms
- Maintain HR page on Sharepoint, including photo library, policies and communications, as needed
- File and enter employee vacation days and complete mid-year and year end vacation reports
- File and accurately organize all Human Resources files electronically using SharePoint and hard copies
- Maintain company subscriptions such as, LinkedIn Learning and McLean and Company, as needed
- Prepare third party contract templates for HR team member review
- Provide input to the organization of team building activities and annual events
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in human resources or related discipline an asset
- Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Preferred payroll experience
- Proficiency with HR systems (e.g. SAP, Success Factors, ADP)
