ECOSAN Hygiene is looking to add an experienced and energetic Accounting Clerk based from our head office at 1534 Church Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba. ECOSAN (www.ecosan.ca) provides route-based hygiene services (floor mats, towels, aprons, janitorial supplies, etc.) to customers across Canada and has grown from 1 to 2000 commercial clients in 10 years, and continues to grow.
The primary focus of the Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper is to apply their knowledge and skills to support the Financial Controller in day-to-day accounting activities with a heavy focus on A/R collections. They will report directly to our Financial Controller and work with other administration team members. They will be managing the financials for our sister companies which include real estate management and numerous motels across North America.
Must haves for this position:
- At least 2 years solid experience in full cycle accounting.
- At least 2 years solid experience working with Quickbooks.
- At least 3 years solid payroll experience.
- Proficient ability to use Excel, Microsoft Word, and email functions.
- Highly organized work habits in terms of keeping on track with day to day tasks.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, day shift.
- Familiarity with filing and remitting various taxes in provinces and states.

Compensation:
$25.00/hour to start (increasing to $27.00/hour after 90 successful days)
2 weeks paid holidays per year
