Duties
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Prepare and distribute invoices, correspondence, and reports
- Maintain and organize accounts receivable records for weekly collections
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and other clerical duties
- Balance accounts daily
- Collect delinquent accounts weekly
- Provide general administrative support to staff members
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an office or book keeping role is preferred
- Proficiency in using computer software such as Sage, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other communication applications, such as WhatsApp
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of trucking or dispatch office procedures is a plus
