Adecco is currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Payable and Payroll Coordinator for a temporary to permanent role. Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
- Perform three-way match of inventory invoices.
- Initiate all disbursements including cheque, EFT, and wire transfers.
- Process expense reports efficiently.
- Prepare and file HST and QST returns.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Conduct due diligence on new vendors.
- Prepare monthly AP accruals and reconcile AP General Ledger to Subledger.
- Assist Financial Analyst with intercompany reconciliation as needed.
Payroll Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison for employees on all payroll matters.
- Prepare UKG Pro WFM payroll report prior to weekly payroll processing.
- Set up new employees in Time and Attendance in Kronos.
- Reconcile all payroll General Ledger accounts.
- Maintain and reconcile accrued payroll liabilities schedule.
- Assist with bank reconciliation (payment register per AS400 with bank statement).
- Collect necessary data to calculate and process hourly bonus payouts.
- Maintain headcount and seniority list for hourly employees.
- Assist with Year-end Audit tasks.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent in Business/Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll.
- Prior experience in a unionized environment preferred.
- Proficiency with AS400 and UKG Pro WFM (previously Kronos).
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
