We design, manufacture and support advanced equipment sensing and analysis products, including on-line oil debris sensors, torque measurement sensors, turbine blade health sensors, and at-line oil analysis systems.
Based in Ottawa, Ontario the Accounts Receivable Associate will report to the Assistant Controller and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on the growth of our business.
What You’ll Do:
The Accounts Receivable Associate will be part of the Finance team with the primary focus on full accounting cycle activities for the department. You will:
- Be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Accounts Receivable transactions including invoicing and cash receipts.
- Be responsible for following up with clients regarding outstanding Accounts Receivable balances.
- Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information, etc.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Liaison with managers for revenue recognition of projects.
- Reconcile customer accounts as needed.
- Answer questions and handle issues regarding invoicing instructions.
- Provide customer services
- Report on activity to management

Who You Are:
- 2-4 years experience in the field of Accounting and/or Finance
- Interest in the business and technical side of an industry and organization
- Have a high level of intelligence, initiative and energy
- Thrive when working as part of a team
- Hold an Accounting or Bookkeeping degree or diploma
- Friendly, calm personality with a strong care and concern for our customers
- Works well under pressure
- Medium level experience and super user of office 365 in particular Excel
What You Should Bring:
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Accounting with at least 2 years of demonstrated success in an Accounting related roll. Additionally, you should have:
- High motivation with results-oriented focus
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- A demonstrated passion to win
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (NATO Level Clearance)
