Position Details
What You Will Do
- Create, maintain and verify vendor records to ensure completeness and, accuracy
- Analyze, prioritize, and process vendor invoices and expense reports
- Process monthly corporate credit card charges
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare payment run for cheques, EFT/ACH and wires
- Perform various reconciliations
- Communicate with vendors, internal and external customer regarding queries or billing issues
- Month-end closing, including journal entries and accruals
- Additional projects and miscellaneous duties as requested
Who You Are
- College or University Degree majoring in Accounting/Finance/Business or a minimum of 3 years in an Accounts Payable role
- 2+ years experience in full cycle accounts payable
- Committed to creating a meaningful experience with every customer
- Experience using Microsoft Word/Excel at an intermediate level
- Proven ability to work with deadlines and comfortable multi-tasking
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Advance knowledge of domestic Federal and local tax requirements
