Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Century 21 Property Zone Realty in Brampton, ON. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing expense reports, utilizing analytical skills, handling finance and accounting tasks, and preparing journal entries.
Using the highest standards and practices to ensure financial documents comply with the law
Collecting and verifying financial information
Maintaining a general ledger by inputting daily financial transactions
Putting together payroll for their company or agents.
Preparation of the T4A to be issued to the clients, agents and the marketing staff.
Resolving financial problems, performing audits, and analyzing profit loss
Monthly bank recos and financial analysis
All work relating to accounts payable and accounts receivables
Preparing financial statements, producing accounting reports, and checking them for accuracy
Doing bank formalities for mortgage approval and bank related formalities.
Coordinating with CPA for tax filings, T4A filings and other CRA notices.
Increasing company revenues and boosting profits
Qualifications
- Experience in Expense Reports and Accounting
- Analytical Skills for financial tasks
- Knowledge of Finance principles
- Proficiency in creating Journal Entries
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Relevant certification in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
