Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst in the bustling city of Vancouver, British Columbia. This role falls within the industry of accounting and finance, where you will be primarily stationed in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Converting customer orders from various formats like emails, PDFs, and spreadsheets into our Order Management system.
- Assigning orders to correct customer accounts in the NetSuite for accurate license provisioning.
- Handling invoicing tasks, preparing credit notes, and processing order adjustments as required.
- Resolving issues such as order errors or account setup delays in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensuring orders match the correct service start dates and rectifying any discrepancies.
- Collaborating with Sales, Channel, and other departments to address any issues that may impact order processing.
- Managing SKU registration and ensuring all quotes align with internal and partner requirements.
- Providing coverage during team absences and working extra hours during peak times such as month or quarter end.
- Participating in internal meetings to stay updated on processes and contribute to issue resolution.
- Utilizing Helpdesk processes to address any system-related problems.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
- Must have experience with ERP Solutions
- Knowledge of Accounting Functions is necessary
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
- Must be skilled in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Familiarity with Billing Functions is important
- Must be able to handle Cash Activity effectively
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
