Job Description: We are looking for a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to manage our financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and inventory records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Handle any financial discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.
- Complete government reporting and processing requirements.
- Analyze financial results and work with management team to implement changes and improvments.
- Tracking of and collecting accounts receivable and working with other relavent people to resolve outstanding receivables.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Certification in Bookkeeping or Accounting is preferred.
