Reporting to the Accounts Receivable and Credit Manager, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for Supporting the Accounts Receivable and Credit Manager, responsible for fulfilling day-to-day Accounts Receivable, and general accounting tasks.
Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm

What you will be doing:

Performs daily Accounts Receivable and general accounting tasks, including but not limited to cash receipts application and reconciliation to total bank deposit, issuing and processing approved A/R credit notes.

Provides excellent customer services to internal and external customers. Ensures collection calls are completed on outstanding customer accounts and resolves issues with customers if and as they arise.

Processes customer rebates accurately and in a timely manner.

Communicates with the Credit department when no response is received from the customer.

Completes customer accounts reconciliation accurately and in a timely manner.

Distributes customer statements.

Validates and administers customer audits. Utilizes provided customer investigative web site tools.

Scans, files, and maintains A/R documents accurately and in a timely manner.

Sorts and processes incoming and outgoing mail and signed POD invoices from customers with adjustments to ensure customer service claim are accurate.

Assists in interim and Year-End audit.
What you will bring:

Post Secondary Diploma required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.

Some hands-on accounting experience required.

Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities.

Team-player with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work / excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential.
