Accounts Payable Analyst
Job Overview:
Corley Developments is hiring an Accounts Payable Analyst - join our team where you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments to vendors. As an integral part of our finance and accounting team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. Corley Developments builds and manages real estate development projects in Ontario.
Duties:
- Analyze and process invoices accurately and efficiently
- Conduct data entry tasks to input financial transactions into the system
- Assist with payroll functions and ensure accurate processing
- Operate software programs such as Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
- Handle accounts payable (and some accounts receivable) duties effectively
- Support the accounting team in various tasks related to financial reporting
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions for auditing purposes
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in accounts payable or related financial roles
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis
- Knowledge of Quickbooks or Sage is a benefit
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial information
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Human Resources and Accounting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders effectively
