Seeking a bright, motivated, reliable person to assist a Professional Advisor with administrative duties.
You will perform a wide variety of administrative support and office clerical functions, including:
-Word processing (MS Word) & spreadsheets (Excel)
-Filling out/checking applications & policy service forms
-Virtual (desktop & cloud) & Physical file keeping
-Creating reports using MS Excel
-Performing data entry, administration of customer data base, and various accounting functions.
-Monitoring compliance requirements (renewing licenses, attending webinars)
-Liaising between clients and insurers (via email)
-Payroll entry, general bookkeeping (reconciling bank and credit card) in Quickbooks Online, and remittances to CRA.
-Other special projects
-offering 3 work days per week both in-office and virtual (for a total of 24 hours/week)
Previous office administration would be helpful, and strong organizational skills are required.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
-You have a Grade 12 education
-You have strong computer skills including MS Excel and database management skills, with the ability to learn new applications.
-You can type 50 wpm, or more
-You possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and interact in an articulate and professional manner with staff and customers.
-You demonstrate planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks with moderate interruptions and prioritize work.
-You can work independently, in a team-oriented environment, and achieve results through others.
This job is located in Penetanguishene, Ontario.
