About our Clinics within Anytime Dental Group
We’re a fast growing, newly established company that has nine clinics throughout Ontario, with four additional clinics being built throughout 2024. In the summer of 2023, we started our journey to build a central support team and bring our clinics underneath the banner of Anytime Dental Group. We believe that we have created never-seen-before dental practices that are undoubtedly committed to our patients, their families and our employees experience.
Your Responsibilities
- Contact patients and insurance companies regarding outstanding balances.
- Be the clinic’s liaison for insurance companies.
- Grow to be a subject expert matter with insurance companies and dental claims.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and delinquent accounts.
- Process payments, refunds, and adjustments accurately in patients’ ledgers.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections’ activities.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, to organize and identify lists of clients from patient management systems for effective contact.
- Provide warm and professional communication with patients while maintaining a firm approach to collections.
Experience and Skills Required
- Proven experience in managing and collecting Accounts Receivable is mandatory.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, mandatory.
- Strong understanding of billing procedures and insurance claims.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with strong proficiency in English in both verbal and written form.
- Flexibility in schedule required. Our clinics are opened 7-days per week and although this is an administrative position (Mondays to Fridays), there may be times when there are unique business demands that requires this candidate to work on other days and hours.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Ontario healthcare billing regulations is an asset.
- Certification in dental office administration or related field preferred.
- The successful candidate will be required to complete a police background check.
