Senior Financial Analyst – Manufacturing
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, with a particular emphasis on month-end closing processes.
Responsibilities:
Month-End Closing:
- Lead and coordinate month-end closing activities for the manufacturing division, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analysis, and other relevant reports to provide insights into the financial performance of the manufacturing operations.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
Cost Analysis:
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including direct labor, overhead, and materials, to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing costs and operational efficiency.
Management Reporting:
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and procedures to streamline month-end closing and reporting activities.
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement best practices to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a must
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of month-end closing processes and financial reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, utilizing tools such as Excel and financial planning software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
