Our business is looking for an energetic, driven and intelligent person to fulfill our Accounting Assistant position.
Some of the duties for this position include:
Assist Controller with all accounting duties, including accounts payable/receivable.
Manage deposits and payments, including bank deposits.
Answer Phones.
Schedule courier pickups and receive deliveries.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Must have attention to detail and be able to critical think. This is a busy position that will require the candidate to multitask in an organized manner.
Experience:
2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong communication skills in both written and verbal.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with accounting software is an asset, but we will train the right candidate.
Preference will be given to individuals with accounting background.
