Express SRG is currently recruiting for a Payroll and benefits specialist for a valued client in the Kincardine area. This is an onsite role

- Base salary 50-55k with 10% bonus

Reporting to the VP of Finance, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Scope includes bi-weekly payrolls for salaried, hourly and commission employees.
- Administer payroll and benefits in accordance with federal and provincial legislation, collective agreements and company policies.
- Prepare and remit payroll benefits and deductions such as WSIB, union dues, pensions etc.
- Perform the monthly reconciliation of the payroll accounts and OMERS pension
- Assist with payroll benefits audits, year-end processes and compliance reporting.
- Support the VP of Finance with payroll benefits and projects initiatives.
- Prepare and distribute payroll and benefits- related document such as T4s, ROEs etc.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and benefits records and files.
What YOU Will Bring to This Role
- 2+ experience with payroll processing and benefits administration
- Knowledge of ADP – Workforce Now
- Knowledge of federal and provincial payroll legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
