Our client is on the hunt for a resourceful, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the CEO and Operation Manager with the daily performance of financial tasks.
What you will be doing:
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Preparation of routine/annual corporate tax documents, such as financial statements, payroll records (issuing of T4 slips, ROE, etc.).
- Process direct deposit semi-monthly payroll utilizing Telpay.
- Preparation and payment of WSIB premiums.
- Preparation and payment of monthly and quarterly remittances for source deductions and GST/HST.
- Liaison with accountants and other external parties as required.
What you will bring to the position:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience gained as a bookkeeper in a similar role.
- Completion of a post-secondary Bookkeeping or Managerial Accounting program.
- Thorough knowledge of journal entries and financial statements.
- Ability to handle payroll tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in utilizing accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of HR (Human Resources) and HS (Health and Safety) software systems, such as Bright, is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
