As we continue to grow and provide quality professional transportation services, we are recruiting for a Accounts Receivable - Specialist to join our Head Office team in Calgary terminal.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to manage our accounts receivable process efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in accounts receivable management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts receivable process from invoicing to collection.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of invoices to customers.
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers to collect outstanding balances.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and payments.
- Generate aging reports and analyze accounts receivable aging to identify potential issues and trends.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Perform any additional tasks or assignments as directed by management in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounts receivable and billing .
- Experience in Transportation industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,993.00-$52,366.00 per year
