DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- General Manager MBA - CPA
Requirements:
- An MBA or CPA is required. Advanced in Finance is preferred, Manufacturing Engineering CAD/CAM.
The General Manager is responsible for studying the Company on the whole and thereby leading, maintaining and improving the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the business by direct management, Production (inventory control), HR, IT, Dispatch, Administration, Customer Service as well as the overall process improvement.
Operations Management
- Review operational procedures and daily function of the company.
- Learn the company’s operational software to improve the Customer Service data input for accuracy and work loads of daily production.
- Ensure that the company policies are updated on a regular basis.
- Ensure that the standard operating policies of the company including health & safety are being implemented and followed by all the employees.
- Manage the production team of technicians and supervisors:
- Work with the production manager to ship & deliver cases to doctors one day before they need it.
- Manage production control to ensure all departments are profitable, control minimum and maximum workload to balance pay and production (as technicians are paid on piece work)
- Control inventory to reduce cost of material and expenses to minimum.
- Detailed report of purchased inventory and department wise utilization of inventory to be submitted on the last working day of every month.
- Work closely with quality control to eliminate internal and external remakes and ensure delivery of highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Meet with the direct reports regularly to discuss the previous week’s performance and set priorities for the following week.
- Provide coaching/training to improve the skills of direct reports.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators and targets for the business alongside the President.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, profitability, quality, accountability, and/or morale on an ongoing basis and implement change to capitalize on those opportunities.
- Coordinate quarterly strategic planning sessions with the management team and lead the implementation of resulting initiatives.
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of industry trends, opportunities and threats and how they might impact the company; develop action plans and assign accountability accordingly.
Financial Management
- Manage and lead the accounting team.
- Develop an annual financial plan/budget.
- Maintain the cash flow forecast.
- Manage liquidity through collections and payable activities.
- Analyze department wise costing and employee productivity to assure profits.
- Prepare accurate performance reporting including monthly financial statements, budget and cashflow variance reports, performance dashboard reports, etc.
· Financial reports to be re-design as per our new structure of production including the new digital products and departments.
· Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, as required.
- Be the point of contact for the company’s external accountant, government agencies, etc.
- Participate in R&D to obtain tax credit from the government.
Human Resources Management
- Build a culture of accountability through the maintenance of a clear organizational structure and supporting documents such as job descriptions and a policy manual.
- Coordinate all recruiting activities, including posting vacancies, screening candidates, negotiating offers, hiring, and onboarding.
- Manage the company’s performance evaluation process.
- Maintain personnel documents.
- Manage payroll and benefits.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and engagement and implement strategies to improve.
Information Technology Management
- Make recommendations for hardware and software solutions that will improve efficiency, effectiveness, profitability, quality, accountability, and/or morale.
- Manage network administration in conjunction with the President.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for the provision of hardware and software solutions.
- Manage any IT implementations including the implementation of Magic Touch Production System and Salesforce.
- Organize maintenance of all the systems and equipment.
- Coordinate the resolution of day-to-day hardware and software issues.
Administration Management
- Manage the administration team including the receptionist, the dispatch team and customer service
- Establish good communication and conduct a weekly meeting with the customer service team
- Coordinate with outside service providers including lawyers, building maintenance, cleaners, property management, office supplies, etc.
Sales & Marketing Management
- Work with the sales & marketing team to create the plan and projections for Company growth.
- Plan and organize Continue Education in house and outside with manufacturer and suppliers of the Company.
- Implement Salesforce CRM system.
- Other duties as assigned.
