F&M Installations Ltd (FMI) is an electrical contracting company which specializes in industrial, substation, and power generation work. We consider ourselves to be a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor within the civil industry. We service Western Canada, executing construction projects in British Columbia, Yukon Territory, Alberta, and Manitoba.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Accounting Lead, and Director of Finance, the Accounts Payable clerk will provide support as follows:
- Assisting AP in the invoice processing
- Preparing cheque runs, including mailing cheques, and filing back-up
- Support with vendor inquiries
- Assisting in month end reporting and reconciliations
- Receipt management and credit card expense tracking
- Coding and electronically routing invoices to the correct approver
- Matching packing slips to invoices and verifying quantities, to purchase orders
- Managing a high volume and dynamic working environment
- Miscellaneous tasks to support month end, as directed and required
- Supporting in training and educating on the AP process
- Working under the Accounts Payable supervisor
Qualifications:
- Highly organized and able to multi task effectively
- Self motivated and detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to take direction from a supervisor
- Proficient computer skills (Excel and Word)
- Accounting experience and some knowledge of Vista by Viewpoint, or Simply Accounting would be a plus
- Full cycle bookkeeping experience is an asset
