We are looking for a Human Resources Manager for our North York office. We are currently located in Mississauga but relocating in 2-3 months. The HR Manager will be responsible for the Company’s hiring process, evolve company culture and values, develop onboarding and training programs, and manage health and safety, amongst other activities. The incumbent will actively participate in automation of day to day tasks, process improvement, and finding and optimizing new areas of opportunity.
*Location: 25 Sheppard Ave E, Toronto, ON. Training for the first 6-8 weeks will be in Mississauga - travel compensation to be provided.*
*Hiring Range - 65-85K*

*What you will be doing! Your day to day will involve:*
* Provide day to day HR leadership, support, coaching, to employees and leaders
* Evolving current on-boarding programs
* Training and coaching current and future leaders on all aspects of their job from task management to people management to system reviews
* Manage full cycle review process bi-annually
* Manage recruitment for all areas of the business to attract and retain talent which includes sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
* Constantly reviewing processes, Job Descriptions, market conditions, to ensure we are attracting the best talent
* General administration duties which includes scheduling, timesheet maintenance and training, corrective action guidance and meetings, employee engagement activities, company culture initiatives
* Drive initiatives for DEI, company culture, employee engagement
* Overseeing workplace injury/ disability cases
* Maintenance, optimization, and Improvement of existing HRIS
* Oversee Company Health and Safety program
* Ensure compliance nationally with employment standards, AODA, Provincial HSA
* Work very closely with payroll to ensure accurate records are maintained, timely communication, and efficient processes.
* Participating and or leading interviews for various roles with in the company
* Management of 1-2 HR Coordinators
*What we are looking for…*
* Completion of Post-secondary degree.
* 5 years of HR experience, ideally in retail.
* 2 years of management/supervisory experience required.
* Enrolled in a CHRP or CHRL program is strongly recommended
* Ceridian/Dayforce experience (or similar software) is strongly preferred
* Ability to adapt and change is a requirement of this role
* Ability to teach, review, delegate and follow up, will be essential to the successful applicant's success.
* Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with tight and moving deadlines
* Excellent knowledge of online recruitment tools (e.g. Indeed) for a variety of different positions; including full-time, part-time and contract for a variety of different skill sets
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral and across all platforms (face-to-face, email, text, phone). Can clearly and succinctly – and with purpose – communicate facts, actions and desired outcomes.
* Proven decision making ability based in research and fact
* Microsoft Office knowledge (Word and Excel) and/or Google Suite
* Position is an in office role
