Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Reviewing and reconciling accounts
- Processing payments to external partners
- Maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts
- Filing monthly sales tax and EHT returns
- Assisting in the preparation for the annual audit
- Participating in the rollout of finance projects and initiatives
- Helping with the finance team all duties associated with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Responsible for all accounting work related to taxes, including bookkeeping and invoicing
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from an accredited institute or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language
- Strong computer skills including ERP systems, Microsoft Office
- Proactive problem-solving/judgment skills
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail
- Organized, proactive, and self-motivated individual capable of producing results and meeting deadlines
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, business environment
- Expected to manage work with minimum supervision
