As the Financial Analyst-Corporate, you will be supporting the development of corporate capital planning, budgeting and/or funding strategies, policies, directions, guidelines, processes and tactics.
Your responsibilities will include working with the Business Partner Support staff to ensure appropriate understanding of, and providing advice on the proper application and compliance with, corporate financial planning & budgeting policies, practices, controls and deadlines. In addition, ensure the annual 10-year Capital Budget & Plan, 15-year Capital Investment Plan, financial updates and in-year budget adjustment submissions are prepared, reviewed, approved and submitted in accordance with corporate policies, guidelines and deadlines.
Maintaining and updating TTC’s SAP financial system throughout the fiscal year to reflect approved in-year budget and capital complement changes, and working with the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis – Capital to ensure changes comply with applicable policies and confirm required approvals are obtained.
You will be assisting with the planning, developing, testing and continuous improvement of systems, templates, tools and reporting to support the annual capital budgeting, financial performance reporting and in-year budget adjustment processes.
As the Financial Analyst-Corporate, you will also help develop and support delivery of training and procedures related to capital planning & budgeting concepts, strategies, policies, analysis, financial management, controls, systems, templates, tools and reporting, and collaborating with Business Management & Performance staff to create and deliver appropriate business training.
